I was born in Pwllheli North Wales, studied Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University School of art, Masters in Art in a Social Context at the University of Essex and now live and work in Essex.  I have exhibited in many group shows such as Northern Graduates London, Buckingham Gallery Southwald, Eastern Open Shakespeare Barn Kings Lynn, Minories Gallery Colchester and University of Essex.

In my work I explore the use of colour, space and hard-edge geometric abstraction.  Fulfilling the need to experiment, pushing the boundaries between painting and the object, utilizing a variety of materials in order to achieve the desired results.

The artwork that I create needs to be in the public domain and I thrive on the viewers questioning what I have produced.  I consider myself on a journey of self-discovery and the information that is gathered will continue to develop my research and experimentation into colour application, bringing colour, environmental space and people together.
